Sable's Grimoire is a visual novel series set in a fantasy world filled with magic and monsters. It follows the adventures of Sable, a young human who wants to become a magic researcher, during his time at Amadronia Academy.
Sable spends his everyday life at Amadronia surrounded by demi-humans, including elves, pixies, and succubi, as he learns more about this magical world and the creatures within it.
With Sable's first year at Amadronia coming to an end, he wants nothing more than to spend the upcoming break at the academy, studying in peace while his friends and classmates head home for the holidays.
However, his half-dragon best friend and roommate, Drakan, has other plans in store for him. She has been trying to get him to visit her home for months now, and with a sizeable break right before around the corner, that time has finally come.
Before the duo can set off, a surprise visit from Drakan's mother, Nidhogg, gives them reason to pause. Holding an ominous necklace in her hand, she forces the seemingly cursed artifact onto Sable, then sets him up with one trial after another.
Dragged to either extreme by these two frightfully powerful beings, will Sable manage to survive the holidays in one piece?

Hi Zetsubou :)
Amazing story, the abyssal differences between humans, elves and other demi-humans compared to dragons is impressive.
I do not have the words to say well enough how much I like this story,
I am quite happy with true end and neutral end, I did not figure out the good ending but perhaps with time :)
The art style is really beautiful, the music are great too ๐
I definitely will play the two other visual novels from Sable Grimoire sooner or later ๐๐
Thanks Anwynn, I'm glad to hear you enjoyed it so much.
If you've already played the true end then there's no need to go back for the good end. There's still the bad end though, which is the hardest one to get.
I see, thank you so much for the information, I do not really like bad ends in a story but I understand they exists too, will need to try finding it just to see even if I probably have an idea on what could happen, thank you :)
Don't force yourself, I just thought it was worth mentioning. The bad end is the trickiest one to get too.
Will give a try for them both end that I did not see and If I cannot manage it is alright too, the true end and the neutral end are quite amazing on their own path โค๏ธ
Thank you for taking the time to reply too ๐
FYI, the link in the product description here looks like an itch.io link in text, but actually goes to a Steam product page. The text *is* the address of the correct itch.io page, for what it's worth.
Thanks, I've fixed that up now. For the Man And Elf page too.
Great! Thanks for the fix!
I have Finished the main game and Mand And Elf. Now i just Finished this.
I love all from thoses. It's like i read an book with a story. It get totally immersed in. So many emotions. You and your team have donne a very nice job ๐๐ป. Thanks also to have done an Android version, i really apreciate that ๐๐ป. It's also help me to maintain my english understanding (i Speak french ^^). I will sure that i will buy the next Sables game.
I remember reading a while ago that you said you planed to do romantic routes for Meara, Eris and other characters after you are done with those two and I was wondering if there are any news on those? Do you still plan on making them?
They won't necessarily be romantic routes, but there is indeed more content coming.
Eris/Raphael's route will be added to the main game, whereas Meara will be one of the routes in Sable's Grimoire 2 instead.
There's a rough timeline of when I expect things to be done here: https://steamcommunity.com/app/717850/discussions/0/1743392703799623229/
Thanks for fast replay! I am supper glad to hear that everything is still coming!
I loved Sable's Grimoire an my only complaint was that some endings didn't feel like they told everything, that there should be more to them witch was nullified when I read that more content is coming out.
I don't follow you on steam so I missed that post and got a bit worried about luck of any news on them, but I am supper glad to hear everything is still in the making, especially for Meara's route (She was my favorite of characters that still don't have a route of their own) and sequels for other heroines.
Also you have my respect for continuing to make sequels despite sales not quite justifying them!
I'll try to keep the forum/devlog feature here in mind for important posts and announcements. Steam is where most of the players are, so I often post things there and don't think to repeat them here.
Anyway, everything's still coming along. Not much to report except that it's still on track and being worked on regularly.
Thank you
